Drew McIntyre and Sheamus' match ended in a no-contest with both men running into each other with steel steps in their hands.

The latest edition of Monday Night RAW saw Drew McIntyre and Sheamus engage in another gruelling battle in consecutive weeks as the duo fought it out in a ‘No Disqualification’ match. It was an all-out, no holds barred match and the scars were there to be seen as both Sheamus and McIntyre took to Twitter to share pictures of their back filled with red marks.

McIntyre and Sheamus’ match ended in a no-contest with both men running into each other with steel steps in their hands, which resulted in McIntyre going over the barricade and Sheamus collapsing to the floor outside the ring. The nasty collision led to trainers, referees and other members of the medical staff rushing to attend them. With Sheamus struggling a bit more, the match was called a no-contest and ended there itself.

Later in the day, both Sheamus and McIntyre took to social media to share photos of their back which showed the heavy toll the match has taken on their bodies.

Sheamus posted a photo of his back with the caption: “..they call this a No Contest. #WWERaw”

McIntyre soon shared a photo and captioned it: “Far from over…”

McIntyre and Sheamus’ rivalry seems to be going well with the fans and the board has also reacted well to the two hard-hitters going at one another. This was their second match in consecutive weeks with the Scot picking up victory over Sheamus last week with a ‘Claymore’ before the Irishman could land his ‘Brogue Kick’.

With the positive reaction and heavy hitting on display, the two could well go at it again in future weeks, although, McIntyre was also shown keeping an eye on Bobby Lashley, who currently has the WWE Championship with him.

Earlier, at Elimination Chamber, The Miz had successfully cashed his ‘Money in the Bank’ contract to take the WWE Championship off Drew McIntyre following an assault from Bobby Lashley.
