The WWE is gearing up to welcome fans back into the arenas in limited capacity right on time for its biggest marquee event – the WrestleMania. The company has also announced hosts for the 37th edition which is scheduled to take place on April 10 and 11 at the Raymond James Stadium, in Tampa, Florida.
WWE’s announcement came on the eve of the final Smackdown before Fastlane. As per the announcement,Hulk Hogan and Titus O’Neil will be hosting this year’s WrestleMania 37. Hogan, a WWE Hall of Famer, needs no introduction, as he is probably the biggest superstar of yesteryears and has also played a key role in the success of Wrestlemania.
Surprisingly,he will have double duty at the event. Hogan will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for a second time, before WrestleMania 37. He will be joined by his New World Order (NOW) friends Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman among others.
While O’Neil, a one-time tag team champion, is another major superstar who will be the co-host alongside Hogan. Along with being a strong performer in the ring, he has also been a big ambassador to WWE for many years. Although this may be O’Neil’s first as a host at Wrestlemania, but Hogan has done it before. The Hall of Famer has hosted Wrestlemania 30 at New Orleans, Louisiana.
The two-day WrestleMania 37 event’s fight card is impressive as the Universal Champion Roman Reigns will defend his title against 2021 Royal Rumble winner Edge. In another headline bout, WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will face Drew McIntyre. After a strong 2020, SamckDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks will defend her title against 2021 Women Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair. While for the RAW Tag Team Titles Match, Omos and AJ Styles take on The New Day.
