Taiwanese PC maker Acer has refreshed its Acer Aspire 7 laptop with the AMD Ryzen 5000 series for the Indian market. The new updated Acer Aspire 7 has been launched with a 15.6-inch display with slim bezels on the sides, allowing for a screen-to-body ratio of 81.61 percent. The Acer Aspire 7 has been priced at Rs 54,990 and has been made available in a single Charcoal Black colour option. The laptop has been made available for purchase on Flipkart and comes in a single RAM and storage configuration.
The updated Acer Aspire 7 run on pre-installed Windows 10. It features a 15.6-inch full-HD IPS display which has a matte finish that makes it easier to use the laptop in a well-lit room. The laptop is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 5 5500U CPU clocked at 2.10GHz, paired with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. There is no optical drive o the new Acer Aspire 7. The graphics duties on the Acer Aspire 7 are done by an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU with 4GB of GDDR6 memory.
Connectivity options on Acer Aspire 7 include a Gigabit Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, a USB 2.0 port, and an HDMI port. There are two stereo speakers for audio and the keyboard is backlit. The Acer Aspire 7 is claimed to offer 10 hours of battery life.
Acer had, in October last year updated its range of Acer Swift, Acer Spin and Acer Aspire range of laptops with Intel’s 11 Generation Core processors.
