Google is all set to unveil their flagship smartphones for the year 2017. Reports had earlier suggested that the Nexus branding will be shelved and Google will rename its phone brand as Pixel for this year. According to latest leaks by OnLeaks the cat is already out of the bag.

Here's what the Google Pixel and Pixel XL will have to offer post their unveiling at Google's October 4 event.

As usual, there will be two screen sizes on offer with the Pixel phones. That will mostly be the major differentiating factor between the two phones.

Android Central had posted earlier on their website that UK's retailer Carphone Warehouse spilt all the Google Pixel beans ahead of the launch.

The Pixel XL is expected to have a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 4 and a 2560x1440 resolution. The battery on offer will also be at 3450 mAh.

The smaller Google Pixel will come with a 5-inch AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 4 and a 1920x1080 resolution. Google Pixel will also have a smaller battery at 2770 mAh.

Both the phones are expected to have a 12-megapixel rear camera with 1.55-micron pixels and an f/2.0 aperture. For selfies there will be an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Other features that might be seen on the Pixel smartphones are a one-touch fingerprint sensor, the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and 4GB RAM. The storage options on the devices are expected to be of 32 GB or 128GB.

Google Assistant will also be one of the main highlights of these phones.
