Affected phones seem to have a bug that not only shows the incorrect battery percentage level, but also fails to update during charging which might lead to overcharging of the devices.

New Delhi: Apple is working on a fix for its iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus models which reportedly show incorrect battery percentage level.

Affected phones seem to have a bug that not only shows the incorrect battery percentage level, but also fails to update during charging which might lead to overcharging of the devices.

According to Apple's support page, the bug seems to arise when the users manually set a new time zone or when their time zone changes automatically as they travel.

The recommended fix for the issue is to restart the phone and turn on the Set Automatically option for date and time.

As Apple is underway releasing the next update to the iOS 9, it is expected that the bug will be further fixed with the rollout.
