Seoul: LG Electronics had unveiled four of its mid-range smartphones at this month's Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. Now the company has announced that the latest phones will soon be available in global markets starting in South America, followed by Europe, Asia, Middle East Africa and North America.
The four smartphones- Magna, Spirit, Leon, and Joy, are available in both LTE and 3G versions and run the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, to expand their appeal in the mass-tier segment with different products for different networks.
The LG Magna features a 5-inch in-cell touch display and a quad-core chipset. The LG Magna is equipped with an 8-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel front shooter, and a 2,540mAh removable battery.
The LG Spirit features a 4.7-inch in-cell touch display and an 8-megapixel camera. In-cell touch technology makes the phones look slimmer while maximising their display areas and minimising the bezels, says LG.
The LG Leon has a 4.5-inch display, while the LG Joy, features a 4-inch display. With the new mid-range lineup, LG is carrying over UX features originally designed for its premium smartphones.
