HTC might just follow the footsteps of Apple and Le Eco and ditch the 3.5mm audio jack on the Bolt.

Evan Blass recently tweeted a photo of HTC's next flagship smartphone that is expected to be named Bolt. HTC is all set to launch their next smartphone globally. According to new leaks and reports HTC might just follow the footsteps of Apple and Le Eco and ditch the 3.5mm audio jack on the Bolt.

The phone will be using a similar technology that the new iPhone 7 and the Le Max 2 uses as a replacement for the 3.5mm audio jack.

Motorola has also omitted the 3.5mm audio jack from the soon to be launched Moto Z. If such a trend continues it will certainly mark the end of the 3.5mm audio jack that we have used for over two decades now to listen to music.
