The NBA League Pass, a subscription service that allows fans to live-stream games on their phone, tablet or smart TV, has launched a new feature designed specifically for mobile viewers.
Called NBA Mobile View, the option provides a viewing experience that's optimised for smaller screens, reports TechCrunch.
An explanatory video, for instance, shows a side-by-side comparison of how games are live streamed for viewers watching on flat-screen TVs at home, for instance, and for viewers using the Mobile View option.
For the latter, camera shots are noticeably tighter and zoom in closer to the action.
That means being able to clearly identify the player instead of having to squint at the screen and the wide angle views.
The NBA League Pass subscription starts at $119.99. The new feature was launched on October 25, 2016.
