Since the launch of the latest flagship OnePlus 5, users have complained about several software glitches which ruins the end-user experience. While the company has acknowledged most of them and have released fixes, the most recent software glitch appeared on Reddit’s Android forum. Users are now complaining that the OnePlus 5 handset automatically reboots when a call is made to 911 to avail emergency services, according to a report by Forbes. The problem is not just restricted to calling 911 and can be found with UK’s 999 too.

“The fault appears to be at the point of connection between the handset and the emergency services. This is the point where many smartphones will provide additional data (such as location) to the dispatch desk,” said the report.

In response to the criticism, OnePlus said in a statement, "We have contacted the customer and are currently looking into the issue. We ask anyone experiencing a similar situation to contact us at support@oneplus.net."

Earlier, several OnePlus 5 users are complaining that despite connecting their smartphones to a working Wi-Fi network, they are not able access internet. The company has confirmed the problem and has promised to a quick fix with a future update.

For those unaware, the OnePlus 5 comes without Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) in 4K videos. This means the 4K videos that you record on the OnePlus appear very shaky. OnePlus has accepted the requirement of EIS in 4K videos and has again promised a software update to fix the issue. Buying OnePlus 5? Know About These Three Problems First
