South Korean Teach Giant Samsung has silently introduced the Galaxy Wide 3 entry-level smartphone in its home country today. The Samsung Galaxy Wide 3 comes as a successor to the Galaxy Wide 2 smartphone, which was launched a year ago. Samsung Galaxy Wide 3 comes in a single variant with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It will be exclusively via SK Telecom in South Korea and can be purchased for 297,000 won (approx. Rs 18,500) in two colour options- Silver and Black. Further, the phone also comes with a face recognition feature.

The Galaxy Wide 3 features a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 400GB via a microSD card. The device comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, and 1080p video recording. On the front side too, the phone features a 13-megapixel camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture. The Samsung Galaxy Wide 3 runs Android 8.0 and is powered by a 3300mAh. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS/ GLONASS. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box with the company’s own custom user interface on top.
