Tag Heuer teases the most expensive Android Wear smartwatch; coming on November 9
Although it will run the Google software, the teaser site says that the smartwatch has been developed in partnership with the search giant.

New Delhi: Tag Heuer has posted a teaser image of its anticipated smartwatch which is touted to the most expensive Android Wear watch ever.

The Swiss watch maker posted a teaser image of the smartwatch on Twitter. Although it will run the Google software, the teaser site says that the Tag Heuer Connected device has been developed in partnership with the search giant.

Dubbed Carrera Wearable 01, the watch will also be the first smartwach to pack an Intel processor, meaning that it should offer functions and features over and above what's already out there.

This indicates that Google might have developed a special software for the Tag Heuer watch and the ‘Connected’ version could mean the new Android Marshmallow powered software for wearables.

Tag Heuer's boss, Jean-Claude Biver, has made it clear that the device has not been built to compete with the likes of the Moto 360 or even the Apple Watch, but with the rest of the traditional Swiss watch industry.

The watch is expected to be priced between $1400 and $1800. It will be unveiled at a special event in New York on November 9.
