At least 20 killed in twin blasts in Turkish capital Ankara

According to a leading broadcaster, the blasts occurred ahead of a planned "peace" march to protest against the conflict between the state and Kurdish militants in southeast Turkey.

Ankara: Two explosions shook a road junction in the centre of the Turkish capital Ankara on Saturday, causing many casualties including fatalities, the Dogan news agency reported.

Atleast 20 persons have been killed in the blasts. The cause of the blasts was not immediately clear.

According to a leading broadcaster, the blasts occurred ahead of a planned "peace" march to protest against the conflict between the state and Kurdish militants in southeast Turkey.
