The medicines provide by India were requested by Government of Sri Lanka. The consignment was brought to Sri Lanka by an Air India special charter flight on Tuesday.
The national carrier will conduct three such special flights to London from April 8 to 10 to help the Canadian citizens who are currently stranded in India.
Two of these flights were from Goa to Mumbai, one from Mumbai to Delhi and another from Delhi to Patna.
