On the peace process, Ravi, who was earlier the interlocutor, said all substantive issues between negotiators and the Centre on the Naga political problem have been resolved
According to articles 371-A and 371-G that grant special provisions to Nagaland and Mizoram, ownership and transfer of land shall apply to the states unless their respective legislative assemblies by a resolution decide otherwise.
Political parties and tribal organisations said they were confident that the Centre "will not dare" to make a similar move in the state as it would jeopardise the ongoing peace process and hurt the sentiment of the Nagas.
Most of the states that have been accorded special provisions under Article 371 are in the northeast and the special status aims to preserve their tribal culture.
