Of the 31 workers in the van, five died on the spot and two while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
The occupants of the car were on their way to Ramdeora from Balotra city of Barmer to pay obeisance at the shrine of famous folk deity Baba Ramdeo.
The victims were travelling in the MUV when it met with the accident near Panihari village in Sirsa, a police official of Sirsa Sadar police station said over phone.
Muhammed Savad, who hailed from Mallappuram in Kerala, was in the passenger seat when the accident took place and died on the spot.
Twelve people died on the spot and a child later succumbed in a hospital, police said, adding the dead included a four-member family.
