Tapping on the young consumer market, the Chevrolet-FNR sports of a futuristic capsule design.
It sports crystal laser headlights and taillights, dragonfly dual swing doors, magnetic hubless wheel electric motors and a wireless auto-charge system.
It further includes a range of intelligent technologies like sensors and roof-mounted radar for environment tracking. It also includes Chevy Intelligent Assistant and iris recognition start.
Although, it is just a concept car, its hi-tech technologies could feature in cars which are less futuristic in appearance.
In self-driving mode, the vehicle's front seats can swivel 180 degrees to face the rear seats, creating a more intimate setting. The driver can switch to manual mode through the gesture control feature.
The Chevrolet-FNR can also serve as a personal assistant to map out the best route to the drivers preferred destination.
The concept vehicle has been developed in Shanghai by GMs Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC) joint venture.
