Tata Aria is powered by a 2179cc engine.
The Tata Aria is the first Indian crossover vehicle.
The Aria is a cross-over between a multi-utility and a sports utility vehicle.
According to Tata Motors the vehicle has "the finesse of a sedan with the muscle of an SUV".
The Aria was first shown as a concept vehicle at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show and at the 2006 Delhi Auto Expo, followed by an unveiling at the 2010 Delhi Auto Expo.
The four-wheel drive crossover has a fuel tank capacity of 60 litres.
The Aria can seat seven persons. The second and third row can be flattened to form a bed.
The vehicle is fitted with a 2 DIN music system and six speakers. The steering wheel has built in audio and phone controls.
Available in eight different colour options, the Aria will join Tata's lineup of SUVs and MUVs that include the Safari and Sumo Grande.
