The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has declared the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) or Assam Class 12 result declared. Students need to score 30% of the total marks in subjects without a practical portion in order to pass the exam. For the subjects that have a separate theory and practical, students need to score a minimum of 30 marks in the theory paper (given the full marks is 100) and a minimum 40 in the practical component.

Toppers of three streams - Arts, Commerce and Science are;
Arts - Pubali Deka and Shraddha Bogohain with 96.2% (481/500)
Commerce - Krishna Maheshwari with 94.2% (471/500)

Students can also check their scores through a result app suggested by the AHSEC named Upolobdha. Candidates can download the app from Google Play Store. Once downloaded, enter your mobile number to register. Registered candidates can then tap on the Assam Board HS Result 2020 link and enter their roll number to view the result. (Image: PTI)
