A day after protests over the Citizenship (Amendment) Act in North-East Delhi turned violent, police on Wednesday imposed Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in the district. At least 21 people were injured, nearly 20 vehicles and other public properties were damaged in the protests in North-East Delhi's Seelampur area. Those injured in the clash included 15 policemen.
