Delhi Violence: Anti & Pro-CAA Protestors Clash Amid Trump Visit

Fresh incidents of stone-pelting in Maujpur and Brahmpuri are being reported today morning (February 25), after violence erupted yesterday in many areas in North East Delhi between people protesting for and against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). US President Donald Trump is scheduled to reach the Rashtrapati Bhawan shortly for the ceremonial reception in New Delhi.

Violence near Maujpur in Delhi as pro- and anti-CAA protesters clash.

A head constable was killed in the clashes that broke out between pro- and anti-CAA groups after tension escalated in northeast Delhi on February 24 afternoon, said the Delhi Police. Section 144 has been imposed at 10 locations in the North-east district.
