 Hooliganism at its peak: It was during the last year, when a group of Kanwar pilgrims vandalised a vehicle in west Delhi's Moti Nagar. The Kanwariyas stopped the car after it allegedly hit one of them. The grey car was being driven by a woman, who was with a male friend. An argument took places between the two sides and one of the Kanwar pilgrims was allegedly slapped by the male occupant of the car. The Kanwariyas then vandalised the car with baseball bats. The incident took place at Panchayatan village when the two groups from the same community indulged into acts of violence allegedly over donation collections in the village and the Bhandara (community feast).
