Saif Ali Khan's film 'Go Goa Gone', which was referred to as India's first zom-com was a hit with the masses. The film revolved around the lives of three friends Kunal Khemu, Vir Das, and Anand Tiwari who are stranded on an island infected with zombies. Saif Ali Khan, who played the role of the Russian gangster, left a lasting impression with his witty one-liners. There is probably no beginner who has been as impressive as Varun Sharma this year. The actor doesn't simply deliver dialogues in 'Fukrey', but he speaks in a manner which overwhelmed everyone. Verbal spats between Hunny (Pulkit Samrat) and Choocha (Varun Sharma) were as amusing as the latter's spot-on performance.

While many think comedy isn't easy, Ram Kapoor knows how to prove it isn't tough business either. Whether it was his comic timing or dialogue delivery, the actor had everyone in splits as he played a hyper dad whose son loses the car that he was to gift his daughter at her wedding.

Neeraj Pandey's 'Special 26' was about four men and how they carry out a robbery at a jewellery shop. The oh-so-believable performance of Akshay Kumar made the film worth a watch. But Anupam Kher, who played a key character called PK Sharma, stole the show and proved that a naturally talented comedian like him needn't invest extra efforts to make people laugh.

Vidya Balan wowed her fans by giving an unrestrained performance as the chatty, Punjabi housewife with a quirky style sense. As someone who follows trends blindly, love shopping, but can't afford to purchase branded products, one could relate to Vidya's role in 'Ghanchakkar'.

Kunal Khemu as Hardik in 'Go Goa Gone' is naturally comical and that manifests itself into his sharp and witty one-liners and memorable performance in the film.

If there was anything that helped 'Matru Ki Bijali Ka Mandola' find several takers, it was Pankaj Kapur. In a fictional village in Haryana, the richest resident, Harry (Pankaj Kapur) and cunning minister (Shabana Azmi) plot against the poor villagers and draw a plan to usurp their farmlands.

[caption id="attachment_926555"] While 'Besharam' failed to be a hit, the performances of husband-wife duo Rishi and Neetu Kapoor were appreciated. As many critics pointed out, the couple's dialogues were far more interesting than the chemistry between the protagonists. [/caption]

Even though many thought David Dhawan's 'Chashme Baddoor' killed the cult classic, Divyendu Sharma took comedy to another level. The guy was so adamant to make people laugh that he did just about everything, from mouthing pickup lines to making weird gestures and using striking body language.
