In a development that is bound to send fans of Southern cinema into a state of frenzy, actor Jayam Ravi‘s latest big screen outing ‘Bhooloham’ arrived in theatres earlier today.
Touted as a sports-drama, the film has been directed by N Kalyankrishna.
‘Bhooloham’ also features Prakash Raj, Trisha Krishnan and former professional wrestler Nathan Jones in pivotal roles.
Judging by the trailer, the film revolves around a boxing contest between representatives from different countries.
‘Bhooloham’ features a pulsating soundtrack which has been composed by noted music director Srikanth Deva. It comprises six electrifying numbers.
The film’s cinematography has been handled by Sathish Kumar.
‘Bhooloham’ went on the floors in late 2012.
Amala Paul was the original to play the female lead. However, the actress was forced to turn down the offer courtesy a packed schedule.
Interestingly, Jayam’s last big screen outing ‘Thani Oruvan’ had emerged a big winner at the box office. As such, if ‘Bhooloham’ too finds commercial success it could go a long way in establishing the actor as a bankable star in the industry.
The film has been shot on a budget of Rs 24 crores.
