Director Homi Adajania's English film 'Finding Fanny' has been gaining curiosity even before it has released. Here are some behind the scene pictures of the cast and crew from the sets of the film.
Homi Adajania posted this hilarious picture of Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and himself from the sets of the film. Apparently this is how Ranveer reacted when he found out his character would be dying in the film.
After a super successful 2013, Deepika Padukone will be back in de-glam role in 'Finding Fanny' where she plays a Goan widow.
The film boasts of a talented star cast consisting of National Award winning actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia along with Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor.
The film has been produced by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan.
Finding Fanny revolves around five rather dysfunctional characters that live in the quaint sleepy village of Pocolim, nestled deep in the interiors of Goa, India. Naseeruddin Shah plays Ferdie the postman in the film.
The film has Anjali Patil and Ranveer Singh in cameo roles.
Interestingly, Homi Adajania had written the story of 'Finding Fanny' in 2009 but postponed the making of the film as his friend and producer Dinesh Vijan stated that there would not be audience for an Hinglish film.
The film was initially to have Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead role but both turned down the film.
Both Dimple Kapadia and Deepika Padukone have worked with Homi Adajania before in 'Being Cyrus' and 'Cocktail' respectively.
Apparently Deepika Padukone heard the story of 'Finding Fanny' on the sets of 'Cocktail' and almost immediately agreed to be a part of the film.
Homi Adajania made an impressive debut with the dark 'Being Cyrus'.
Ranveer Singh plays Deepika Padukone's husband in the film who dies on his wedding day itself.
