Hansika Motwani is regarded one of southern cinema’s most well known faces courtesy her vivacious personality, cherubic screen presence and impressive acting prowess. Hansika’s mother Mona is a dermatologist while father Pradeep is a businessman.
Hansika began her acting career as a child artist with a Hindi show titled ‘Shaka Laka Boom Boom’. Thereafter, she acted in a few films as well. Her most notable big screen outings as a child artist include ‘Hawa’ and ‘Aabra Ka Dabra’.
In 2003, Hansika played the lead role in a popular Telugu film ‘Desamuduru’. She was paired opposite Allu Arjun. The film fared extremely well at the box office. Thereafter, in 2007 she entered Bollywood by playing the female lead opposite Himesh Reshammiya in ‘Aap Ka Suroor’.
Hansika is a fitness freak and practices Yoga on a regular basis.
She shares a wonderful rapport with her colleagues. The actress is very good friends with Trisha Krishnan.
Interestingly, Hansika’s die-hard fans built a temple in her name nearly two years ago. It is located in Madurai.

Hansika will soon be seen opposite Vijay in ‘Puli’. Interestingly, the film also features Sudeep, Sridevi and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles.
