One of Marvel Comics' most loved character Wolverine is back. Part of the 'X-Men' series, actor Hugh Jackman is all set to reprise the role for the second time.
'The Wolverine' is the sixth installment in the popular 'X-Men' series.
The story starts from where 'X-Men: The Last Stand' ends and now the Wolverine drops his superhero moniker and lives as a recluse in Yukon.
Hugh Jackman plays Logan aka Wolverine who is a mutant and a member of X-Men.
Directed by James Mangold, the film has been produced by Jackman's production house- Seed Company.
The film is based on a 1982 comic 'Wolverine' which was a limited series edition.
Jackman has previously played the 'The Wolverine' in 'X-Men: The Last Stand'.
Actress Svetlana Khodchenkova plays Viper a mutant who has an immunity to toxins.
Logan discovers from Yukio, a pixie, that a Japanese soldier, Yashida, who he saved during the war is dying and is requesting Logan to pay him one last visit. At Yashida's residence, it is revealed that the old man wants to be an immortal just like Logan. In addition, he wants him to serve as his granddaughter's personal bodyguard.
The film releases in India on 26 July after being released in US on July 24.
