The first look of the film promises a mad cap comedy. Will Vidya be able to weave magic one more time?
'Bobby Jasoos' has been directed by Samar Shaikh, who is known for his contribution to the art department of several Yashraj films such as, 'Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic', Dhoom franchise, 'Bunty Aur Babli', 'Tashan', and 'Chak De! India'.
The actress has donned various looks in the film and says many people even failed to recognise her on the sets.
Produced by Dia Mirza, Sahil Sangha and Reliance Entertainment, the film has Balan playing the central character with Ali Fazal playing the male lead.
Balan has reportedly been interacting with women detectives to get first-hand information about their work.

Actress Dia Mirza, who is one of the producers of the fim, says Vidya was the only choice for the role.

In the course of her training and preparation, the Balan picked up several tricks of trade to give a touch of authenticity to her on-screen role.
Versatile actress Vidya Balan plays the role of an aspiring Hyderabadi woman detective in the upcoming film 'Bobby Jasoos'.
She was very surprised to see that 85 per cent of the detectives she met were housewives, who undertook sleuthing as a part-time job when their children went to school.
