UP Congress chief Rita Bahuguna Joshi made a speech in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh where she allegedly made derogatory remarks about BSP chief Mayawati.
Rita Joshi allegedly made remarks in her speech that abused BSP chief and UP Chief Minister Mayawati.
Bahuguna has been booked under 153 A (delivering inflammatory speeches), section 109 of IPC (using abusive language), 7 Criminal Law Amendment Act besides SC/ST Atrocities Prevention Act.
Defending his party leader UPCC Spokesperson Akhilesh Pratap Singh said that the UP state government has once again taken law in its hand and accused the BSP supporters of ransacking Rita’s house.
Angry over her remarks against UP Chief Minister Mayawati a group of BSP supporters allegedly forced their way in Bahughuna's house on Wednesday night and allegedly set a portion of the house on fire. They also damaged some property and vehicles in the houses.
