Poco M3 Launch Today: Here's Everything We Know About the New Smartphone in Photos

The Poco M3 smartphone will launch at an event scheduled today at 05:30 PM IST. With the new smartphone, Poco will refresh its M-series lineup that already includes the Poco M2 and Poco M2 Pro models. The upcoming Poco M3 will launch globally, and the smartphone is also expected to arrive in India. Fans can view the launch event via Poco website, Twitter account or YouTube channel. Therefore, here's all you need to know about the smartphone, hours before its launch.

Last week, 91 Mobiles published the poster of the Poco M3 that shows the smartphone in three colour options of Black, Blue, and Yellow. In terms of design, the power and volume rockers are present on the right, while there's no fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone. There's also a big rectangular block at the top half of the phone that includes the rear cameras on the left and the Poco branding on the right. The phone is expected to come with a USB Type-C port at the bottom.

The new Poco M3 will reportedly support NFC, that is also present on other Poco phones like Poco X3. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that it will feature a 6.53-inch display with Dot design (company speak for water-drop notch). The alleged poster further indicates that the front panel will feature slim bezels.

Poco has revealed that the Poco M3's triple rear camera setup will include a 48-megapixel primary camera. The specifications of the other cameras on the smartphone remain unknown at the moment. To recall, the Poco M2 comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. The Poco M2 Pro includes a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Other features on the new Poco M3 include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC and a 6,000mAh battery that reportedly supports 18W fast charging support. The pricing and RAM and storage configuration details will be disclosed during the launch event today. At the moment, Poco offers Poco M2 and Poco M2 in India at Rs 10,999 and Rs 14,999 respectively.
