Rare Photos from a Century Ago: The 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic

More than a century ago, another pandemic engulfed the world. Known as the Spanish Flu, the pandemic lasted for 15 months between 1918 and 1919. The flu is estimed to have infected 50 crore (500 million) people around the world resuling in the deaths of 1.7 crore to 5 crore people (17 million to 50 million).
