Saudi Women in Driver's Seat As World's Last Ban on Female Drivers Lifted
On Sunday (June 24) Saudi women celebrated being allowed to drive on the roads of Saudi Arabia. Last September, King Salman decreed an end to the world's only ban on women drivers, maintained for decades by Saudi Arabia's deeply conservative Muslim establishment.
