Mamatha Chamarthi is an alumni of Osmania University, Hyderabad where she studied Master of Arts before pursuing Master of Business Administration from Sri Venkateswara University, New Delhi. She then moved to the United States to do further studies and completed Masters of Science in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Oakland University, Michigan followed by Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
She has a diverse career spanning more than 20 years. Her first stint was with Daimler Chrysler in 1996 where she joined as Manager IT. She moved up the ladder to become Senior Manager IT in Daimler Chrysler Financial Services.
Mamatha Chamarthi noticed the digitization in automobile industry very early and went onto become the Chief Information Officer in Consumers Energy followed by Senior Vice President, Chief Digital Officer and Chief Information Officer at TRW – a global supplier of automotive systems, modules, and components.
In her current role, she is representing ZF Friedrichshafen AG, one of the largest automobile component manufacturers in the world as the Chief Digital Officer and Senior Vice President and Executive Lead India Technology Center.
Mamatha Chamarthi will be the keynote speaker at the Tech and Auto Awards 2018 and will speak on the paradigm shift in the automobile industry that is rapidly embracing technology to lead the mobility industry.
