1962 Indo-China war: Stories of the prisoners of war

The 1962 Sino-Indian conflict claimed the lives of 5,000 Indian soldiers while several others faced the humiliation of being taken prisoners by the Chinese Army. Brigadier AJS Behl describes the seven months that he spent in a Chinese prison camp as a prisoner of war. Brigadier Behl was a 2nd Lieutenant in 1962. He was taken prisoner by the Chinese near Bum La in Arunachal Pradesh.
