New Delhi: Dressed in a fuchsia coloured Michael Kors jersey dress, Sushmita Sen attended the press conference of the announcement of the second edition of Jabong Online Fashion Week in the capital. Braving the cold weather, the 39-year-old looked drop-dead gorgeous as she attended the photocall. Showing no signs of ageing, Sushmita beamed with radiance as she spoke about her 20 years journey as Miss Universe and how life has changed for her over the course of time.
"I don't realise where the time has gone. I have just been so busy living and exploring life and taking up every opportunity that life has given me. And living it like you won't believe, like age has been a number, the time that has gone. But I am very happy in the space and I think that every day I have been developing attitude, aptitude to what I want to do next. I have recently certified myself as a deep sea diver and that's the latest development in my life. I am doing very many different things at the moment. I have planned for a trip with my daughters at the end of the year. 20 years have been a magical journey, everything that has happened has happened for a reason I believe," she said.
Speaking further on how she trained Indian girls for Miss Universe pageant she said, "When I took over the franchise of Miss Universe India, we were grooming 70 women over the period of 2 and half years. Some are now ramp models, some went on to become actors, news readers. The magic of the platform is such that you get to learn a lot from it."
