New Delhi: Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan will be meeting father of 12-year-old Arian on Friday, who is suffering from a rare genetic disorder called the Hunter syndrome.
This is the second meet between the Health Minister and Arian's family who have been receiving help from many all around the world as a part of CNN-IBN and Change.org's campaign.
The family is seeking subsidized treatment for all those suffering from the disorder. The minister had commissioned an AIIMS report on Arian's treatment which is likely to be discussed with his parents on Friday. The family is being optimistic and is waiting for the Health Minister to come up with a swift response.
Arian's father,Sankar Chowdhury, told CNN-IBN that they have received close to 24 lakh rupees as donations since the campaign started last month. Arian's father is glad with the government intervention and hopes that donations shall keep flowing in.
