Called as the bulldozer by Israelis and butcher by the Arabs, former Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon passed away on Saturday. He was in a state of minimal consciousness for the past 8 years after suffering a stroke in 2006. He will be laid to rest on Monday at his ranch in Israel. US Vice President Joe Biden and former British PM Tony Blair and other world leaders will attend his funeral ceremony on Monday. While Israel mourned the loss of a great military general and Prime Minister, there were some Palestinians who rejoiced at his death.
