Ahmedabad: Troubles seem to be mounting for self-styled godman Asaram's son Narayan Sai who has gone missing after a lookout notice was issued against him. Like his father, he too, is facing sexual assault allegations.
After issuing a lookout notice to prevent Narayan Sai from leaving the country, the Surat police have formed six teams to trace him. He went missing after two sisters accused him and Asaram of sexually assaulting them.
"He used to ask me repeatedly to come to him. He would always want me around. And he used to send girls to those who worked under him," said one of the sisters.
The younger sister's complaint against Narayan Sai has been lodged with the Surat police, who have begun investigating the matter. A case against Asaram has been registered in Ahmedabad based on the elder sister's allegations.
A police team from Ahemdabad has also reached Asaram's Jehangirpura ashram in Surat to begin investigations and look for clues.
Meanwhile, Asaram who is currently in a Jodhpur prison and facing trial for assaulting another minor girl has now approached the Supreme Court seeking to restrain the media from covering his trial.
