Lucknow: Four men allegedly gangraped a minor girl in Saraimeer area of Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh. The FIR has been filed against the accused but no arrests has been made so far.
The incident took place last night when four men allegedly caught the girl and gangraped her in a nearby field, police said.
The accused have been identified as Mukesh, Arvind, Vikram and Durgesh.
Police said all the four accused fled the spot after the crime.
The incident comes just three days after the shocking gangrape case of two Dalit sisters in Badaun in the state, whose bodies were found hanging from a tree.
Azamgarh is an important constituency as it is represented by Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.
