Muzaffarnagar: As Uttar Pradesh is grappling with the communal flare in and around the Muzaffarnagar district, Arun Kumar, ADG Law and Order, said that the situation has improved with no fresh incidents being reported on Monday. "The situation has improved on Monday as far as rural area is concerned because we had only one incident and we have arrested around 30 people in relation to that," Kumar said. 
 
While Kumar refrained from directly naming any political party or leaders for stretching the police, he said, "I don't want to blame anybody but these are the factual things." 
 
Citing examples which have created a hurdle for the forces to ensure peace in the state, he said, "Many things are not under the control of the police. Basically the communal situation of the state, like we had seen a call of the Ayodhya parikrama' suddenly coming. We had to stop that. Also one of the MLAs from Uttarakhand along with 80 supporters tried to start the parikrama, when the riots were in Muzaffarnagar. In Saharanpur, there was call of Hindu gathering in which we had to restrain Ashok Singhal at Ghaziabad border and in the same day they were trying to do 'yagya' and 'havan' for that." 
 
"All these things create a atmosphere were the communal divide increases," he said. 
 
Meanwhile, he said that security has been ensured in the areas and assured the residents to return to their villages, who left their houses after the communal violence took place.
