New Delhi: The notorious biker gang of Delhi, that has been looting people at gunpoint, struck again on Wednesday night. The gangs looted two shops at gunpoint in east Delhi. The police have no leads even after eight such incidents have occurred in the last fortnight.
On Tuesday night three separate shooting incidents were reported in east Delhi.
In the first, a pillion rider shot at another driver and fled the scene. In another area, two bike-borne assailants shot at a passerby. Three others on bikes looted a jewellery shop at gunpoint and fled while shooting in the air. Two of them, however, were caught by the bystanders.
Delhi has seen at least eight such shooting incidents in July so far.
In the latest incident, on Wednesday night four armed assailants entered the shops and threatened to shoot if the shopkeepers did not give them the money. The gang then took Rs 25,000 from the shops.
Although the police has no leads so far they have announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for any information of the gang.
