New Delhi/Chennai: The class 10th and 12th CBSE board examinations began across the country on Monday.

It was three hours of nail-biting time for the students appearing for the exams.

Some students shared their experience with CNN-IBN.

“It was nice, it was simple. Some calculations were tough, though,” said one.

“There were three or four questions that took almost half hour for me solve,” complained another.

There were no major surprises this year for students as the pattern of the exam remained the same as the year before.

“It was easy as compared to school,” said one student who is sure of securing 97 to 98 per cent.

“It was very easy! I might even get hundred,” was another optimistic voice.

Many students, along with their parents, are already worried about their next date with the boards.

“Physics is tough. We've been preparing for it for the past year. Let's see what happens.”

Another student said that the next paper is like the Damocles sword hanging atop their head.

Over fourteen lakh students are expected to appear in the exams this year.

While the class 10th boards would end on March 30, the class 12th exams will end on April 2.
