Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday presented the Economic Survey 2022-23, the report card of India’s economy, in Parliament. According to the Economic Survey 2022-23, India’s real GDP growth for the next financial year FY24 is pegged at 6-6.8 per cent.

More than half the households expect a decline in their income the current financial year, as compared to the previous fiscal. Most are looking for a respite in the coming budget as they stare at uncertainty when it comes to their earnings and savings, as per a survey.

In India, therapy sessions cost anywhere between Rs 1,000-4,500 on an average depending upon where one lives. Those who are recommended by their psychiatrist to seek therapy are sceptical because of the high cost. Dr Neerja Birla, founder and chairperson, Mpower and Aditya Birla Education Trust, says, the cost is the tip of the iceberg. “Mental-health issues do not go away with one or two sessions. At Rs 1,000-1,500 per session, an average person cannot afford 10-20 sessions that are required to put him or her firmly on the path of recovery.”

The traditional 'Halwa ceremony' was on Thursday (January 26) held in the North Block, marking the final stage of the Budget preparation process for the Union Budget 2023-24. The ceremony was held in the presence of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Union Ministers of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary and Bhagwat Kisanrao Karad.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sithraman will present Union Budget 2023 on February 1. The Budget Session of Parliament began on January 31 with an address by President Droupadi Murmu to the joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha in the Central Hall of Parliament. FM Sithraman also presented Economic Survey 2022-23 on January 31. The Survey has pegged India's FY24 GDP at 6-6.8% ahead of Budget.
Ahead of the national elections in 2024, the last full budget of the government is likely to boost welfare spending with a focus on rural and infra capex, according to a report by Swiss brokerage UBS.

Unlike others, Swanand never thought of ways to 'stop the waves' or to do away with challenges in life. Instead, he has always believed in accepting them, learning the lessons it offer and proving his potential. And that's exactly why he didn't think twice before giving his nod in approbation to the movie offer that came his way. He told us that he never turned down any challenge in life because he knew accepting them would help him seek new, positive experiences. 
 
As Swanand told us, director Ritesh Menon had approached him and even narrated the story to him. 
 
"Ritesh said that he wanted to make me play a character in his film. To this I reacted by saying, "You should ask Prakash Jha as he knows me well. I have worked with Prakash Jha as a singer in 'Raajneeti'.' That time Menon told me that Prakash had said in affirmative and that I had to do a film. This also made me accept the film." 
 
Swanand, who has had a great experience shooting for the film, is sure that it will turn out to be good. "The film is about a crazy family that fights over monetary issues. But soon realises the importance of family and relationships. It is a fun film meant to be watched with entire family." 
 
The film 'Crazy Kukkad Family', which also features Shilpa Shukla, releases on January 16.
