New Delhi: Temperatures dipped across north India with several areas blanketed under heavy fog on Thursday morning. With runway visibility dropping to 50 metres at the Delhi airport, 10 international flights have been delayed. 41 trains have also been delayed while one has been rescheduled as heavy fog disrupted transport networks in the capital.
Himachal, too, continues to shiver as temperatures are likely to go below zero in Kullu and other cities. Cold wave conditions also prevailed at many places over Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. West and East Madhya Pradesh also experienced dense fog at isolated places on Thursday.
Meanwhile, two homeless persons were found dead in different parts of Delhi. A 30-year-old man was found dead near a night shelter in Fatehpuri, while the death of a 85-year-old man was reported from Polli Kothi area in Lahori Gate.
