Deadline For Linking Aadhaar With Welfare Schemes Extended to June 30

The government has extended the March 31 deadline for linking Aadhaar with welfare schemes by three months. The revised deadline is June 31. The deadline for linking bank accounts and mobile numbers with Aadhaar has already been extended indefinitely, till the five-judge constitution bench of the SC delivers its judgment on petitions challenging Aadhaar's validity.
