With these arrests, the number of arrested have gone up to nine people. During overnight raids on Sunday, the police have managed to recover Rs 2.3 crore.

Earlier, the police had already recovered Rs 2.3 crore. With Sunday night's raids, the police have managed to almost crack the case with recovering a little less than Rs 5 crore. The breakthrough in the case came after police managed to fish out dossiers from its records as victims, eye-witnesses and informers providing detailed description of suspects who were spotted in south Delhi's Malviya Nagar and Khirki areas.

On Friday, the robbers held up a cash van in South Delhi's Defence Colony, and ran away with Rs 5.25 crore cash. A guard who was shot during the robbery, later succumbed to his injuries.
