New Delhi: Yet another multiple shooting incident in the national capital in less than a week has raised concerns about the security arrangements in place. Three people were shot dead by two men at Swaroop Nagar in North-west Delhi on Friday evening as they went on a killing spree. One of the shooters also died in the firing, while the other was critically injured.

An eyewitness to the incident said that the duo opened fire at themselves. "One of them is dead, the other is alive. It is very similar to what happened earlier in the city in Bindapur. The police will have to do some serious thinking."

The mayhem unfolded when the shooters, Manish and Rajbir entered Swaroop Nagar on a bike. They first shot Rajbir's brother krishan.

Their next target was Jyoti. Reports say Manish was in love with her. Usha was the third target and she was shot at at a street corner.

The shooting spree didn't stop there. Rajbir and Manish then went to Rajbir's house and pulled the trigger on his wife and two young daughters.

The injured were rushed to two hospitals. One of the victims is said to be critical now.

It's unclear whether the gunmen tried to commit suicide or kill each other. Initial reports say there are two possible angles to the incident: property dispute and love.

Police say that the pattern of murder is similar to that of the shooting in Bindapur which took place earlier on Monday whereby a man shot dead four of his family members and their landlady before killing himself.
