New Delhi:George W Bush and Manmohan Singh are all set to toast the Indo-US nuclear deal.
Though the Prime Minister may get more than just a grand signing ceremony at Bush's Texas ranch, in August Manmohan Singh and his wife Gursharan Kaur will join a select club of a dozen world leaders, at the home of the first family of the US.
“I’m honoured to welcome my very good friends, the PM of Japan, Crawford and others such as Colombian President, Uribe,” said the American President who is doing business with them for strategic reasons.
The Bush’s will perhaps greet the Singh’s when they show up in a Marine Corps chopper from where the Indian PM and his wife can expect more than just a trip to the ranch.
Singh who normally sports bandhgalas on foreign visits, will have a lot of challenges including the Ranch dress code -- jeans, open collar shirt and no tie.
Normally eating a conservative dinner, the PM may just have to opt for some catfish like China's leader Jiang Zemin.
The American President also said that he was looking forward to driving the world leaders around in a Ford Pick Up van and see the ranch and serving them some good food for lunch.
The US President has a private waterfall and can give a lesson to the leaders on Texan birds and trees.
But the PM's aides rule out mountain biking, chopping wood, fishing and golf, which are known hobbies of Bush.
