Vivek Oberoi has rebooted his career with the much talked about PM Modi biopic. The film which will be directed by Omung Kumar is co-produced by Vivek’s father Suresh Oberoi. But at least one person thinks Vivek is not the apt choice for the film. Omar Abdullah took multiple digs at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi film on Twitter on Tuesday saying: "Life is unfair. Dr Manmohan Singh got someone of the calibre of Anupam Kher. Poor Modi ji has to settle for Vivek Oberoi. Salman Khan hota toh kya maza aata," Vivek Oberoi and Salman Khan’s feud over the now Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is well known. Salman Khan memes were also floating about the internet yesterday recalling his kite flying days with the PM, that is of course in addition to the hundreds of memes on the film. Actor Paresh Rawal has also commented saying nobody can essay the character of PM Modi apart from himself. He had also announced a biopic on the Prime Minister last year and says the film is on track and shooting will commence in October or November this year.

Veteran actor filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has been diagnosed with throat cancer and underwent surgery on Tuesday, Hrithik Roshan revealed on Twitter. PM Modi responded to the news saying he was praying for Rakesh Roshan’s health and called him a fighter. Hrithik later thanked the PM for his wishes and said that the surgery has gone well according to the doctors.
