Eknath Ombale, Tukaram Ombale's brother, says the victims of 26/11 terror attacks will get justice only when Ajmal Amir Kasab is hanged. Tukaram, an assistant sub-inspector with Mumbai Police, was killed trying to arrest Kasab on the night of November 26. 2008. Eknath spoke to CNN-IBN after Kabad was sentenced to death on Thursday.

Eknath Ombale: Our family welcomes the sentence. The hard work of Ujjwal Nikam, Rakesh Maria and others has paid off.

CNN-IBN: Others have been sentenced with death but are still waiting in jail. Do you fear the same might happen with Kasab?

Eknath Ombale: I am afraid of this when I think of Afzal Guru. Only on the day when Kasab is hanged, will my brother and other victims of 26/11 be truly vindicated.

CNN-IBN: Do think the case can actually be shut only when the masterminds behind the attack are caught?

Eknath Ombale: Absolutely. The masterminds should actually be punished and hanged even before Kasab.
