With just a few months to go for a the 2019 Lok Sabha elections - a hackathon in London aims to show the vulnerability of EVMs in the poll process. Syed Shuja, a US-based cyber expert, who has designed Electronic Voting Machines used in India, alleges that the 2014 general elections and the 2018 state elections were rigged. Shuja is holding a press conference in London claiming that he can demonstrate how the machines can be hacked. Congress leader Kapil Sibal is also present at the event.
